Kanguru Defender Basic Entry Level Hardware Encrypted Flash Drive

Kanguru launches the new Defender Basic, that is the latest in the Defender line following the FIPS 140-2 Certified Kanguru Defender Elite and the Kanguru Defender V2. This Basic version is an affordable, entry-level hardware encrypted flash drive designed for everyday use.

The Defender Basic features 256-bit AES hardware-based encryption, on-chip password matching, limited password attempts and free 1 year Anti-Virus/Malware protection. Like other Defender drives, the Basic has a rugged aluminum housing and physical write-protect switch.

The Kanguru Defender Basic is available in capacities ranging from 2GB to 128GB. It’s price starts at $29.95.
