ZyXEL MWR222 Mobile Wireless Router

ZyXEL announced the new portable MWR222 Mobile Wireless Router, that offers individuals and business travelers high-speed Internet access anywhere. The pocket-sized MWR222 is a rugged WiFi router compatible with the 802.11n WiFi standard, offering up to 150Mbps data transfer rate. It offers WPS button for quick and easy wireless security set-up and it is backward-compatible with 802.11b/g standards.

The ZyXEL MWR222 has dual Ethernet ports for supporting fix DSL/cable connection and dual USB ports for mobile broadband connection via USB 3G/4G/LTE dongle. It’s built-in, rechargeable battery can allows over two hours of operation.

Also introduced are the MWR211 with single USB and Ethernet ports for 3G/4G support and 150Mbps, 11n compatible wireless connectivity, and the MWR215 single USB and Ethernet ports for 3G/4G connectivity, WAN backup and 300Mbps, 802.11n wireless connection.

The ZyXEL portable router will be available in Q1 2009. The MWR222 will be priced at $299.99, and the MWR211 at $199.99, MWR215 at $99.99.
